Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Lower Amid Mixed Trading Results

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index ended Wednesday's trading session with a decline of 57.70 points, closing at 10,949.27 points. The total trading value on the main index was SAR 6.7 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the day's trading saw a total volume of 320 million shares exchanged, with 116 companies registering gains while 137 companies experienced losses. This mixed performance reflects the ongoing volatility in the market.

Additionally, the Saudi parallel market index, known as Nomu, closed higher by 85.64 points, ending at 22,811.40 points. The trading value for the parallel market was SAR 19 million, with a volume of 2.8 million shares traded. This positive movement in the parallel market contrasts with the main index's decline.
