Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) "30" index experienced a downturn on Wednesday, closing at 8,334.26 points. This reflects a decrease of 57.4 points, or 0.68 percent, from the previous trading session, which had ended at 8,391.67 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the total trading value for the day increased to OMR 75,506,894, marking a rise of 6.8 percent compared to the last session's trading value of OMR 70,685,558. Despite the increase in trading value, market capitalization saw a decline of 0.620 percent, closing at approximately OMR 38.31 billion.
