Saudi Cabinet Praises Strategic Meeting Outcomes with Turkiye and Pakistan

Saudi cabinet: Saudi Cabinet has commended the outcomes of the first meeting of the Strategic Political and Defense Committee under the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan. The Cabinet also hailed the pact that grew out of this meeting to take further institutional implementation steps to establish a General Secretariat headquartered in Saudi Arabia.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a meeting chaired Tuesday by HH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Cabinet further noted the agreement that included effectuating paths of bilateral cooperation. This includes bolstering coordination and integration, as well as ensuring powerful collective deterrence and defense and helping support global security and regional efforts in pursuit of achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace.

The Cabinet underlined that Saudi Arabia would continue to bend every effort to reinforce the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s contribution to serving issues of the Islamic world and realizing the aspirations of its peoples for stability and peace.
