Doha:Saudi Arabia has expressed strong condemnation of the Houthi group's persistent attacks on civilians, economic infrastructure, major cities, and shipping lanes in the Red Sea.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia has emphasized the Kingdom's right to protect its sovereignty and security.

The ministry also reiterated its complete support for Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and urged the UN Security Council to implement resolutions to halt the Houthi threats to both regional and global security.
