The meeting focused on increasing trade exchange, with Hayari highlighting the recent growth in trade between Jordan and Sri Lanka. He noted key imports from Sri Lanka, such as fabrics, tea, and spices, while Jordan's exports include iron products and clothing. The Sri Lankan ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties and expressed interest in importing Jordanian olive oil and Dead Sea salts.
