Royal Court Chief meets Russeifa dignitaries

Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, head of the committee to follow up on the Implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah’s Initiatives, Monday met at the Royal Court with notables and representatives of Russeifa District in the Zarqa Governorate. The meeting followed the King’s visit to the district last week, where he met local leaders to check first-hand on the needs of the local community. During today’s meeting, which was attended by His Majesty the King’s Adviser for Tribal Affairs, Atef Hajaya, Zarqa Governor Hassan Jabour, and a number of deputies from the region, Issawi noted that alleviating living pressures on citizens, improving services, particularly health and education, and creating jobs is a key focus of His Majesty the King. He pointed to the implementation of a number of Royal Initiative projects in the past years in Russeifa district that covered various development and service sectors, pledging to continue work in the coming period with a focus on productive and development projects that generate job opportunities for young people. Speakers during the meeting touched on the key needs of their region in various economic, educational, health, youth and development sectors, adding that the royal visit will have a positive impact on services They stressed the importance of the Russeifa Ecological Park, which was inaugurated by His Majesty the King during his visit to the district, and demanded measures be taken to ensure the sustainability of services there, including facilities for persons with disabilities and the creation of green areas.
