The qatar stock exchange: The QSE index rose 0.17% at the opening of Tuesday's trading session, gaining 16.53 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,823 points, buoyed by gains across five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed that the Consumer Goods and Services sector led the gainers, advancing 1.95%. This was followed by the Real Estate sector, which rose 0.41%, and Telecoms, which increased by 0.18%. Additionally, the Banks and Financial Services sector gained 0.15%, while Industrials edged up by 0.09%.
In contrast, the Insurance sector experienced a decline of 0.96%, and Transportation saw a drop of 1.12%. By 10:00 am, the trading value on the QSE reached QR 76.137 million, with 21.369 million shares changing hands through 3,951 transactions.
