Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Thursday, gaining 22.19 points, or 0.23 percent, to reach 9,876.29 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 203,735,796 shares were traded during the session, with a turnover amounting to QAR 696,659,423.256 across 22,204 transactions spanning all sectors. The data showed that the shares of 35 companies advanced, while those of 12 companies declined, and the shares of 5 companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization experienced a slight rise to QAR 592,241,234,673.726, in comparison to QAR 592,195,036,280.086 in the previous session.
