Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a minor decrease on Sunday, closing 13.19 points lower, translating to a 0.13% decline. The index settled at 9,863.10 points by the end of the trading session.

According to Qatar News Agency, the day's trading volume amounted to 147,913,583 shares, with a total turnover of QR 286,439,071.505. This was achieved through 13,520 transactions across all sectors. Out of the listed companies, 32 saw their share prices advance, 18 experienced declines, and four remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.

Despite the decrease in the index, market capitalization showed an increase, reaching QR 593,095,149,114.036 compared to QR 592,241,234,673.726 in the previous session.
