QSE Index Falls 10.87 Points at Start of Monday’s Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index fell by 0.11% at the start of Monday's trading, losing 10.87 points compared with the previous session's close to reach 9,838 points, pressured by declines in three sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed gains of 0.28% in the consumer goods and services sector, 0.14% in transportation, 0.10% in telecoms, and 0.03% in real estate. Meanwhile, the industrial sector declined by 0.24%, banks and financial services by 0.26%, and insurance by 0.75%.

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 2,792 transactions valued at QR 48.298 million, distributed across 20.189 million shares.
