Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the grand prize winner of QR 1 Million for the 4th edition of its highly-anticipated Misk Account annual draw. QIB also announced the launch of the 5th edition of Misk Account, adding more potential millionaires to the winning pool and making it the largest prize pool in the country worth QR 13 million, with 4 Millionaires instead of 1.
The lucky winner of the 4th edition of the Misk Annual draw, Mr. Ali Mohamed Al Kuwari, was randomly selected in a draw that took place in the presence of official representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and QIB.
Commenting on being the lucky winner of the annual grand prize, Mr. Ali Alkuwari said: “I would like to thank QIB for this amazing opportunity. This is truly a life changing moment, and I am so happy that I opened a Misk Account. I am grateful to QIB for their generosity and to acknowledge and reward customers for adopting good saving habits.”
Reiterating its commitment to rewarding customers and offering them the best customer experience, QIB has launched Misk 5 adding 3 more millionaire grand prizes, to now award 4 lucky winners of the grand cash prize. Furthermore, the total number of weekly winners will now increase to 808, and the total cash prizes will reach QAR 13 Million.
For a period of 52 weeks, every three months, 4 winners will receive a grand prize worth QAR 1 Million. In addition, 15 winners will receive QAR 10,000 every week, and 2 lucky winners will win QAR 50,000 every month.

Existing and new QIB customers interested in opening a MISK Account can do so easily, from anywhere and at any time, through the QIB Mobile App. When opening a MISK Account, customers will receive a free debit card, become eligible to request a free for the first-year credit card backed by the account balance, receive profits on their savings and have the chance to frequently win cash prizes.
All Qatari citizens and residents are eligible to open an MISK Savings Account for themselves or their children. Customers must maintain a minimum monthly balance of QAR 10,000 to be eligible for the weekly draws. To qualify for the grand prize draws, the customer must open the account three months prior to the draw and maintain a minimum of QAR 10,000 for each of those months. For every additional QAR 10,000 saved, the customer has one additional chance in the draws.
