Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) announced the grand prize winner of QAR 100,000 for the 2021 edition of its annual ‘Cards Summer Spends’ promotion for Mastercard Credit and Debit card holders.
The winner, Mrs. Aisha Atia was selected using a random electronic draw, which took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and QIB and was represented by her son Mr. Hazem Othman Abdelmajieed.
QIB partnered with Mastercard to launch its annual ‘Cards Summer Spends’ promotion for Mastercard Credit and Debit cardholders to reward for their loyalty with individual prizes up to QAR 100,000.
Customers who used their QIB Mastercard Debit Card internationally or Mastercard Credit Card locally or internationally between 1st June and 31st August 2021 were automatically qualified to win valuable prizes.
Commenting on her grand prize win, Mrs. Aisha Atia said: “I have been banking with QIB a long time ago and I am grateful to them for their continuous efforts in offering wonderful opportunities to win valuable prizes. I cannot thank QIB enough for this reward and for helping me achieving my goals.”
During the campaign period, a total of 13 QIB Mastercard cardholders received weekly cash prizes of QAR 25,000 each. QIB Mastercard cardholders had one chance for every QAR 5,000 weekly spend, when using their QIB-Issued Mastercard Debit Card internationally and their QIB Mastercard Credit Card locally or internationally.
