Doha:Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) participated in the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), held in Doha on September 28-29. The event, themed "Tomorrow's Infrastructure Impact and Innovation," focused on sustainable infrastructure, innovative financing, and strengthening international partnerships for development.
According to Qatar News Agency, QFFD showcased its efforts in translating financing and partnerships into sustainable development impact. This included highlighting its financing instruments, sectoral priorities, and strategic partnerships.
The meeting demonstrated QFFD's approach to mobilizing resources and collaborating with governments and multilateral institutions to support development priorities and promote resilient and inclusive growth.
On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting, QFFD conducted a series of high-level bilateral meetings with senior government officials and development partners. These discussions aimed to explore opportunities for deepening cooperation, expanding cross-regional partnerships, and enhancing the impact of development finance, with a particular focus on sustainable infrastructure, economic development, and regional connectivity.
