Abu Dhabi:The State of Qatar participated in the 17th annual meeting of the Arab Finance Ministers Council, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This event was organized by the Arab Monetary Fund.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Deputy Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, represented Qatar and led its delegation at the meeting.

The meeting featured participation from experts of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Discussions on the agenda included the use of artificial intelligence in fiscal policy and public finance, sustainable financing for infrastructure, and the experiences of Arab countries. Additionally, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development provided updates on recent developments in tax measures.
