Doha:Qatari newspapers on Sunday focused on various issues, particularly emphasizing Qatar's commitment to providing aid to the Gaza Strip. This aid will be distributed through transparent mechanisms and with the full coordination and approval of the United Nations and successive Israeli governments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the editorials also addressed Qatar's efforts to enhance its regional and international role in supporting children with autism and their families. This initiative involves an integrated approach that includes both government and community institutions, highlighting achievements by national health institutions under the leadership's guidance.

Al-Sharq newspaper highlighted that Qatar consistently communicates to the international community that its aid to Gaza is humanitarian, with clear mechanisms approved by both the UN and Israeli authorities. It noted that support is channeled through purchasing fuel for power, providing financial aid to impoverished families, and paying salaries of civil servants in Gaza, all subject to UN and Israeli review.

Al-Sharq concluded that attempts to scapegoat Qatar in Israeli political conflicts are unacceptable and will not distract from the violations committed by the occupation in Palestinian territories.

On another front, Al-Arab newspaper commended the growth of Qatar's tourism sector. It emphasized a vision beyond mere visitor numbers, aiming for a sustainable sector that contributes to economic diversification and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The newspaper noted Qatar's resilience in tourism despite regional challenges, supported by an integrated ecosystem of tourism, aviation, hospitality, and events. It highlighted the role of technology and artificial intelligence in enhancing tourist experiences and the potential of Doha as the Gulf tourism capital for 2026.

The editorial concluded that Qatar is investing in a smarter, sustainable tourism future, transforming visitor experiences into economic and societal value.
