Aichi-Nagoya:Qatar's Rashed Nawaf and Mishari Nawaf claimed the gold medal in the men's padel competition at the 20th Asian Games, marking the nation's first gold in this sport. The event took place in Aichi-Nagoya, where the duo emerged victorious against the Malaysian team of Christian Chin and Aidan Yunus, winning in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.

According to Qatar News Agency, the gold medal was presented by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, who is both the President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).

This victory is particularly significant as it represents the first time padel has been included in the official Asian Games program, making Qatar's achievement a historic milestone in the sport's debut.
