El Jadida, The State of Qatar, represented by Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and Al Shaqab, is participating in the prestigious 14th edition of the International Arabian Horse Show held under the motto: '"Equestrianism and Sustainable Mohammed VI Exhibition Center Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in the Kingdom of Morocco with the participation of 40 countries. The event will run until Oct. 23.
QREC has been keen to have a special thrilled activity at the show through its pavilion stationed at the international village and promotes for the events of Arabian horse championships, and the horse racing at Al Rayyan and Al Eqda racecourses, as well as major international races the QREC sponsors annually, chief among which are the Qatar Goodwood Festival in the United Kingdom, and Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France.
The club is committed to participating in 14 edition of the International Arabian Horse Show on annual basis, which is one of the outstanding events at the level of Morocco each year, with Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, participating in the show through competing in the international shows and championships for purebred Arabian horses from A category, which is set to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, as Al Shaqab holds an amazing record at the level of the beautiful purebred Arabian horses and therefore its participation will surely elevate its artistic level.
The event will feature numerous events, including the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI and other major events, as the 14th edition of the international Arabia horse show represents an opportunity for highlighting the major contributions of the horse, along with its associated activities to the sustainable development known by Morocco.
The event also represents an occasion for highlighting the significance of horses in promoting the cultural heritage. The show will feature a wide range of programmes that include recreational equestrian activities, cultural and artistic demonstrations, as well as a series of lectures and scientific meetings with the participation of a contingent of experts and researchers in Equestrian sector.
