Qatar Shines with Silver at Asian Junior Bowling Championship

Jakarta: Qatar's Talal Al Marri secured the silver medal in the overall competition at the 25th Asian Junior Bowling Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia, by scoring 3,972 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, Hong Kong's Dylan Lam Nok Him clinched the gold medal with a score of 4,112 points, while Vietnam's Tran Hoang Khoi earned the bronze with 3,958 points. Qatar's success at the championship was further highlighted by a gold win in the doubles event, thanks to the efforts of Talal Al Marri and Abdulrahman Al Dosari. Additionally, Ahmed Adel Darwish captured a bronze medal in the singles category.

Talal Al Marri, along with teammates Mosaed Al Marikhi and Ahmed Adel Darwish, has also qualified for the Masters event, showcasing their prowess in the sport. The championship is set to continue with the team competition, culminating in the Masters finals. The top 16 male and female players will qualify for the Masters, based on their overall rankings.
