Qatar qualified for the quarterfinals of the 22nd Asian Men's Volleyball Championship after defeating Thailand 3-0 (25-13 / 25-19 /25-22) on Wednesday.

The Qatari team will face either Iraq or Chinese Taipei on Thursday.

Qatar had qualified for the round of 12 after topping its group standing with a full score by beating India and Afghanistan 3-0 in both matches.
