Doha:Qatar Foundation has announced that preparations are complete for the second edition of the "Qiyada Aspirations and Development of Muslim Youth in Qatar" conference. It will be held on September 25 and 26 at Multaqa, the Education City Student Center, under the theme "Guided by Faith, We Thrive in a Changing World." The event will feature scholars and thought leaders discussing challenges and opportunities for young people.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Abdulnassir Shamlan Al-Tamimi, Executive Director of Student Services at QF Higher Education, emphasized the conference's focus on addressing the rapid changes facing youth, such as digital transformation and artificial intelligence. The aim is to explore how faith and values can guide young people in a complex world.

The conference seeks to deepen participants' understanding of themselves and their cultures, encouraging them to contribute to the common good. It aligns with Qatar Foundation's mission to extend education beyond academics by building moral character and fostering community service.

The event is expected to attract 1,400 to 1,500 participants, ranging from university students to those from various educational institutions. It will provide a platform for learning, reflection, and engagement, conducted in both Arabic and English with simultaneous interpretation.

This year's focus is on practical application, equipping attendees with tools for daily life challenges. The program includes four main pillars awareness, identity, tools, and resilience and action. Sessions will cover topics such as mental health, technological awareness, and community engagement.

Dr. Al-Tamimi reviewed the previous edition's success, highlighting over 1,467 participants, extensive media reach, and high satisfaction ratings. He affirmed Qatar Foundation's commitment to empowering youth with knowledge and guidance, reinforcing Qatar's role as a platform for inspiring Muslim youth.
