Qatar Engages in Virtual GCC Justice Ministries Undersecretaries Meeting

Doha: The State of Qatar took part in the 28th meeting of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Justice in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which was held virtually on Wednesday. Leading Qatar's delegation was HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on topics aimed at bolstering joint judicial, legal, and legislative cooperation among the GCC Ministries of Justice. Discussions included a report on the meetings of the Committee of Officials of the Departments of International Cooperation and International Relations at the Ministries of Justice in the GCC countries for the year 2026. The participants were also informed about the General Secretariat's memorandum concerning the meeting of the Committee of Directors and Heads of Legal and Judicial Training Centers and Institutes in the GCC countries for the same year. Decisions made during these discussions are expected to support the progress of joint Gulf action, enhance integration, and promote the exchange of expertise between the GCC Ministries of Justice.
