Doha: The State of Qatar chaired the fourth meeting of the Preparatory and Planning Task Force for the joint security exercise of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) security agencies, named "Arabian Gulf Security 4". This meeting was conducted at the headquarters of the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya" and included representatives from the security agencies of the GCC member states.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was part of the ongoing preparations to host the exercise in early 2026. The primary aim is to strengthen field coordination and enhance operational readiness among the participating nations.
Discussions during the meeting were centered around executive plans and the critical preparatory phases necessary to ensure the drill's success and achieve its strategic objectives.
