The second round of the political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in the capital Baku.

The Qatari side was chaired by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, while the Azerbaijani side was chaired by HE Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev.

During the consultations, the two sides reviewed the bilateral cooperation ties and means of promoting and enhancing them.

The consultation round was attended HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Faisal bin Abdullah Al Henzab, the Qatari accompanying delegation, and HE Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov.
