Prime Minister of Qatar Holds Strategic Talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister in Amman

Amman: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty during the Arab ministerial committee meeting in Amman. The meeting aimed to mobilize international action in response to illegal Israeli policies in occupied Jerusalem.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Egypt and addressing the latest regional developments. The ministers emphasized joint Arab efforts to confront Israeli escalation in Jerusalem and explored diplomatic measures to reduce regional tensions and bolster security.

During the discussions, Sheikh Mohammed underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, highlighting the need to adhere to the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran. He emphasized ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and maintaining regional security and stability.

Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives that aim to defuse tensions and achieve sustainable peace in the region.
