Amman – Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat, deputizing for King Abdullah, inaugurated the 23rd edition of the National Olive Festival and Rural Products Exhibition. The event, held in collaboration with the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), showcases the transformation of innovative ideas into groundbreaking agricultural projects.

According to Jordan News Agency, During the festival, attended by Senate Speaker Faisal Al-Fayez and NARC Director General Nizar Haddad, Al-Fayez announced a JD20,000 donation from the Senate's Solidarity Fund to support the people of Gaza. The fund will purchase supplies from rural women's products at the festival, in cooperation with the Hashemite Charitable Organization.

Haddad emphasized the quality control measures in place, reassuring visitors that every bottle of olive oil at the festival is thoroughly examined by the center's olive oil laboratory staff.
