Baghdad / NINA / – Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari held a meeting in the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, in the presence of a number of officers of the Directorate.

Al-Shammari said in a statement that “the law is above everyone and is a support for the clan and the citizen,” directed to “continue communication with clans, as they are part of the social fabric and have a prestigious position.”

He pointed out that “the clan is a platform and a school for science and good morals, as we have entrusted it,” stressing that “any officer or affiliate who is subjected to a (tribal claim) because of his implementation of the duty entrusted to him in implementing the law and realizing the right, must inform the sheikh of the clan in dispute with him that he is an opponent of the Minister of Interior. Those who violate the symbol of the law will be arrested immediately.”

He stressed that “there is a three-month evaluation period for the directorate and staff of clan affairs and the rest of the departments, and those who have not proven effective in performing the duty and adhering to it will be changed.”/End
