Doha: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed held a virtual meeting with HE Minister of International Trade of Canada Maninder Sidhu. Discussions were laser-focused on bilateral cooperation in commerce and investment between the two countries, avenues for advancing this collaboration, as well as a variety of subjects of shared interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties and exploring new opportunities for trade and investment. Both ministers expressed a commitment to enhancing the bilateral relationship and discussed potential sectors where collaboration could be increased.
