Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets Gambian Foreign Minister

Jeddah: HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met Thursday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of The Gambia, Sering Modou Njie. Held on the margin of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation relations and ways to boost them, in addition to a range of topics of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two ministers were centered on enhancing the existing partnership between their respective countries. The meeting provided an opportunity for both officials to explore new avenues for collaboration, addressing key areas of interest that could strengthen ties. The ministers emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation to achieve shared goals.

The meeting took place during the OIC's Council of Foreign Ministers session, which brings together representatives from member states to discuss issues pertinent to the Islamic world. The engagement between the Qatari and Gambian officials highlights the significance of international cooperation in addressing regional and global challenges.
