Amman, Jordan – In a significant development in the ongoing crisis in Gaza, His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan received a phone call on Sunday from Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides. During the conversation, the King emphasized the urgency of ending the conflict in Gaza and called for the imposition of a humanitarian truce.
According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah reiterated the need for intensified international efforts to facilitate the ongoing delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza. He stressed the importance of allowing international humanitarian agencies to operate without hindrance in the region. His Majesty underscored the importance of finding a political solution to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, based on the two-state solution, highlighting that military and security measures alone cannot ensure stability.
