Jordan’s Foreign Ministry Denounces Israeli Minister’s Remarks on Gaza

Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed strong condemnation of a statement made by an Israeli minister, which involved a reference to using a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip.

According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, the remarks made by the Israeli official are considered a "call for genocide" and constitute a hate crime. Ambassador Qudah emphasized that such a statement is a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law. He described it as a serious escalation that urgently demands international attention and action to combat hate speech. Qudah urged the international community to compel Israel to cease its aggressive actions against Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank, holding Israel accountable as the occupying power.
