Jordan’s King Abdullah II met, on Monday, with Deputy Assistant to the US President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk, who is currently visiting Jordan.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the Jordan-US strategic partnership, and reviewed the latest regional and international developments, especially regarding the Palestinian cause.
The Jordanian King stressed the need to step up efforts in pursuit of just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.
