Amman: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met Tuesday with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk during his visit to Amman. Safadi and Turk discussed the evolving situation in the region, the fallout of the unfolding escalation, and the efforts bent toward ending it and restoring placation, as well as achieving enduring security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides addressed avenues for strengthening the ongoing cooperation between Jordan and the UN agency. The meeting underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing regional issues and enhancing bilateral relations to ensure sustainable peace and security.
