Jordan, Cyprus, Greece Deepen Trilateral Cooperation Through Key Sectors

Amman: Jordan's King Abdullah II, Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis convened in Amman for their fifth trilateral summit to enhance cooperation across key sectors and address regional and international developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah II emphasized the summit's role as a platform to expand coordination and economic ties among the three nations. He highlighted significant progress in the areas of water, energy, education, and tourism, and stressed the importance of leveraging the strategic positions of Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece.

The summit also saw King Abdullah II calling for stronger cooperation with the European Union to support regional stability. He reaffirmed the trio's commitment to international law and urged for sustained efforts towards a ceasefire in Gaza, alongside ensuring unhindered humanitarian access.

The leaders of Cyprus and Greece underscored the value of the trilateral partnership, noting its growing potential in fields such as energy, investment, transport, and climate cooperation.
