Jordan: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held a phone call with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The ministers also addressed the ongoing developments in the region, with particular focus on the situation in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, both officials emphasized the importance of fully adhering to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid, and advancing toward the next phase of the agreement. They stressed that lasting stability must be accompanied by a clear political horizon that respects the rights of the Palestinian people.
Safadi and Bourita also underlined the urgency of ending the recent escalation and halting unilateral Israeli measures in the occupied West Bank, describing such actions as illegal and destabilizing.
