Israeli Occupation Arrests 50 Palestinians in West Bank

West bank: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday widespread arrests and raids across the West Bank's governorates, arresting at least 50 Palestinians.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF arrested 25 Palestinians in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, where they were reportedly assaulted. The IOF also apprehended 10 Palestinians in Ariha city, as well as in the Aqabat Jabr and Ain Al-Sultan refugee camps.

In the Bethlehem governorate, six Palestinians were arrested, with another six detained in the village of Mirka, south of Jenin. Additionally, three Palestinians were arrested in southern Nablus, Jenin camp, and in Ramallah.

In a related operation, the IOF stormed schools and homes in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, detaining dozens of Palestinians for several hours under harsh weather conditions.

These arrests are part of an intensifying policy by the Israeli occupation aimed at restricting Palestinian movement and targeting activists and freed prisoners.
