Houthi Ballistic Missile Intercepted North of Riyadh

Riyadh:A ballistic missile launched by the Houthi group was intercepted and destroyed north of Riyadh early Wednesday by the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, according to the coalition's official spokesperson.

According to Qatar News Agency, Maj. Gen. Turki Al Malki, the spokesperson for the coalition, stated that the coalition was monitoring the missile's launch platform through its intelligence systems over Sanaa and planned to destroy it.

Al Malki noted that the governorates of Sanaa, Saada, and Amran were the primary regions from which Houthi missile attacks originated. He emphasized that the coalition would persist in its efforts to neutralize ballistic and surface-to-surface missile threats and eliminate their launch sites.
