Hot and Hazy Weather with Strong Offshore Winds Expected Today

Doha:The Department of Meteorology has forecasted that Wednesday‚ weather will initially be hazy to misty in certain areas, becoming hot during the day with a possibility of local clouds.

According to Qatar News Agency, the offshore weather is predicted to be hazy at times, with a warning of strong winds expected in the northern regions.

Inshore, the winds will predominantly be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 05-15 KT, potentially gusting up to 22 KT in some areas during the day. Offshore, winds are expected to be mainly northwesterly at 07-17 KT, with gusts reaching up to 25 KT at times.

Sea heights inshore are anticipated to be between 1-3 feet, rising to 5 feet in the north. Offshore, sea heights will range from 2-4 feet, potentially rising to 8 feet in northern areas.

Visibility inshore is expected to be 4-8 km, possibly dropping to 3 km or less in some areas initially, while offshore visibility will be between 4-9 km.

Tide and temperature variations across different areas include Doha, with high tides at 06:56 and 17:41, low tides at 01:11 and 14:01, and temperatures ranging from 30 to 40 degrees Celsius. Other areas such as Dukhan, Messaid, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Abu Samra will experience similar variations with minor differences in tide timings and temperature ranges.

Sunrise is at 05:25 LT, and sunset will be at 17:21 LT.
