Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Ambassador of the Republic of the Gambia, Foday Malang, at the Amiri Diwan as the ambassador concluded his tenure in the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Deputy Amir presented the Al Wajbah Decoration to Ambassador Malang, acknowledging his efforts in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations. The Deputy Amir conveyed his best wishes for the ambassador's future endeavors and expressed hope for continued development and growth in the relations between Qatar and the Gambia.

HE the Ambassador extended his gratitude to HH the Amir, HH the Deputy Amir, and the country's officials for their cooperation during his service, which he credited for the success of his mission in Qatar.
