HH the Amir Announces New Ambassadorial Appointments to Four Countries

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued a series of Amiri Decisions, appointing new ambassadors to key international positions. The appointments were made official through Amiri Decision No. 58 of 2025, which named Abdulaziz Mohammed Khalifa Ahmed Al Sada as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Thailand.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir also appointed Hamad Salem Dhaen Al Sheikh Al Kuwari as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic Republic of Congo under Amiri Decision No. 59 of 2025. This decision underscores the strategic importance placed on diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In addition, Mansour Abdulla Salem Saad Al Sulaitin has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia through Amiri Decision No. 60 of 2025. This decision highlights the focus on strengthening bilateral ties with Armenia.

Furthermore, Amiri Decision No. 61 of 2025 saw HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Maliki Al Juhani appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Singapore. These appointments are effective immediately and will be published in the official gazette, marking a significant step in Qatar's diplomatic engagements.
