HH the Amir and Norway Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway Jonas Gahr Store engaged in discussions focused on bilateral relations and the potential for strengthening cooperation across various fields. This dialogue took place during a telephone conversation initiated by the Prime Minister of Norway.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation began with HH the Amir conveying his heartfelt condolences to HE the Prime Minister on the passing of HM King Harald V, extending wishes of patience and solace to the Royal Family and the Norwegian people.

In response, HE the Norwegian Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to HH the Amir for his thoughtful words and emphasized the robust nature of the bilateral relations between Qatar and Norway. He also expressed his eagerness to further enhance and develop these ties to serve the shared interests of both nations.

The conversation also covered recent developments in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the Palestinian issue. Both leaders discussed international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
