Head of Libyan Government of National Unity Removes Foreign Minister From Position

Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba removed the Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush from her position.

During his visit on Monday to the Embassy of the State of Palestine to express Libya’s position that supports and backs the Palestinian people and their just cause, Al Dbeiba confirmed his rejection of Al-Mangoush’s meeting with the foreign minister of the Israeli entity, affirming that such position does not represent the government of Libya and its people, according to Libyan News Agency (LANA).

Meanwhile, Libyan House of Representatives held an urgent session during which the representatives affirmed their rejection of normalization with the Israeli entity and called on the Attorney-General to hold everyone who had any connection with this meeting to account.

They considered such a meeting a high treason and crime that should not go unpunished, pointing out that the wide popular rejection is a clear message for anyone who tries to deal with this entity.

Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aguila Saleh affirmed that Palestine is the cause of Muslims that no one is entitled to compromise, adding that Palestine must build its state with Jerusalem as its capital.
