Govt denies closing 10th of Ramadan center for people with special needs

The Cabinet media center denied reports alleging that the 10th of Ramadan center for rehabilitation of people with special needs is closed.

In a statement on Friday, the center said it contacted the Ministry of Education and Technical Education which categorically denied the reports, asserting that the rehabilitation center is working regularly at full capacity.

The center receives about 250 cases per day, added the ministry.

The ministry said the 10th of Ramadan center is one of the biggest rehabilitation centers for people with special needs at the Arab and African levels, aiming to offer an integrated system of services to the students with special needs for free in accordance with the highest international standards.

The cabinet media center called on various media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of any news before publishing baseless information that may create confusion among students and parents.
