Brussels:GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi stated that a coordination meeting of GCC legislative council speakers reviewed the agenda for the upcoming second GCC-European Parliamentary Meeting, which is set to take place on Friday in Brussels. The discussions focused on issues of mutual interest between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU).

According to Qatar News Agency, participants at the meeting underscored the strategic importance of GCC-EU relations. They emphasized the need to enhance cooperation across various fields and highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening the partnership between the two regions.

Al Budaiwi expressed his hope that the meeting would advance parliamentary relations, open new avenues for cooperation, and serve the mutual interests and aspirations of both sides.
