Four Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Airstrike on Gaza City

Four Palestinian civilians were martyred Sunday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building west of Gaza City, bringing the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since yesterday to 260, according to medical sources.

Local reports confirmed that four civilians lost their lives as a result of an Israeli airstrike which knocked down the building they were residing in, located in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in Gaza City.

Meantime, medical sources reported that five Palestinian civilians were injured in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a house in the Ma’an area in the city.

On the other hand, a Palestinian youth was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces this morning, while three others were arrested in the Hebron governorate in the West Bank.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted security sources as saying that the Israeli occupation forces stationed at the northern entrance of Hebron city in the Ras al-Jura area fired live bullets at the Palestinian youth, injuring him in
the back. He was transferred to the hospital, where his condition was described as stable.

The Israeli forces also arrested three Palestinians from the town of Halhul in the north, after raiding and searching their homes.

The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces imposed a strict closure on all entrances and exits of Hebron city, as well as towns, villages, and refugee camps in the governorate, preventing the movement of citizens. They also closed all entrances to the Bethlehem governorate.

The Israeli occupation forces continued to close the checkpoints surrounding the occupied city of Jerusalem for the second consecutive day.
