Fluctuating Exchange Rates in Qatar Impacting International Trade

Doha: Exchange rates in Qatar have recently shown significant fluctuations, impacting both local and international economic activities. The Qatari riyal has experienced varied exchange rates against a range of global currencies, indicating shifts in the financial landscape.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Moroccan Dirham is trading between 0.38940 and 0.42390 Qatari riyals, while the Malaysian Ringgit has been valued at 0.85230 to 0.92140 Qatari riyals. The Norwegian Krona's exchange rate ranges from 0.36320 to 0.42860, and the New Zealand Dollar is positioned at 2.13660 to 2.26250 against the Qatari riyal.

Significant changes have also been noted with the Omani Riyal, which is trading between 9.39800 and 9.65100. The Philippine Peso is valued from 0.05440 to 0.06140, the Pakistani Rupee from 0.01290 to 0.01360, and the Saudi Riyal ranges between 0.96300 and 0.98400. Meanwhile, the Swedish Krona is at 0.35990 to 0.42320.

The Singapore Dollar's exchange rate is between 2.83080 and 2.95760, while the Syrian Pound ranges from 0.02400 to 0.03400. The Tunisian Dinar is trading between 1.24700 and 1.35830, and the Turkish Lira is observed at 0.06950 to 0.08270. Additionally, the U.S. Dollar is trading at 3.63000 to 3.65000.

In the commodities market, silver is trading between 68.96750 and 69.01750 USD, gold between 4602.60790 and 4604.51710 USD, and platinum between 1877.77540 and 1884.77950 USD. The South African Rand is also experiencing fluctuations, trading between 0.22350 and 0.24500 against the Qatari riyal.

These exchange rate variations reflect ongoing economic trends and can have significant implications for trade and investment strategies in Qatar and beyond.
