Doha: The FIFA Arab Cup 2025 is poised to break records as it gears up for an extensive celebration of football, unity, and fan engagement. Organizing Committee Media Executive, Al Nuaimi, shared insights into the various initiatives planned to enhance the tournament experience for fans from the 23 participating nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the organizing committee has planned several fan-oriented activities, including a fan parade at Doha Port. This event will feature supporters from all participating countries, emphasizing the tournament's role in showcasing Arab unity and the shared passion for football. Fan zones are set to be established around all six stadiums hosting the Final Stage, providing recreational activities and ensuring memorable pre-match experiences.
Al Nuaimi highlighted the FIFA Arab Cup Trophy Tour, which has been conducted across multiple Arab countries. This initiative, akin to the FIFA World Cup 2022 tours, allows fans to see and photograph the official trophy. The tour has generated excitement and contributed to increased ticket sales, especially after the launch of the official mascot Juha and the tournament song, both of which have boosted fan enthusiasm.
Al Nuaimi emphasized the tournament's growing importance, noting its inclusion in the monthly FIFA World Ranking. The organizing committee's engagement strategy includes direct communication with fan group leaders from various expatriate communities in Qatar. A dedicated Fan Engagement Department has been operational since 2021, maintaining a comprehensive database of fan groups and feedback channels.
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) holds regular consultation meetings to review fan experiences from previous tournaments. These efforts aim to address concerns and facilitate fans' needs, building a robust data system that continues to evolve. The committee's proactive approach ensures a seamless experience for fans attending the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.
