Egyptian, Iranian Presidents Stress Importance of Avoiding Military Escalation in Middle East

Doha: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed in a phone call today with Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, the importance of sparing the Middle East from further security deterioration. During the call, the two presidents emphasized the need to prevent the region from sliding into a military conflict, which repercussions could pose significant risks to regional security and stability.
