HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today, during his visit to Venezuela, with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Carlos Faria Tortosa.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to support and promote them, including a range of topics of joint interest.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly the Palestinian cause.
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs hailed the position of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, in addition to the level of relations between the two friendly countries, stressing that his current visit to Venezuela comes with the aim of following up on the issues raised during the official visit of HE President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro to the state of Qatar last June.
