Doha: HE Deputy President of the State Audit Bureau Sheikh Fahad bin Hamad bin Saud Al-Thani met Sunday with HE Deputy Auditor-General of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China Ma Wenhui. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China in areas of mutual interest, particularly performance auditing and its importance in enhancing the implementation of economic policies and the general budget. According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the existing relationship between the two nations in the field of audit and economic policy implementation. Both officials emphasized the significance of performance auditing as a tool to improve economic policy execution and manage national budgets effectively. The discussion aimed at exploring avenues for collaboration in audit practices to benefit both countries.
