Doha, The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (Daam) signed on Monday a financing agreement with the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara to support the 2024 Al-Galayel Championship, which will be held from January 29 to February 20, with the participation of 20 teams.
This is the third time that the agreement is signed and it reflects the pioneering role played by Daam and the contributing firms that are listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in support of community development and cultural activities in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. In addition to this cooperation between Daam and Katara to support the 2024 Al-Galayel Championship, it aims to develop this heritage and have new generations to preserve it.
Al-Galayel Championship for Traditional Hunting is one of the most important local championships aimed at preserving the traditional hunting heritage by providing a competitive and enthusiastic environment in which participants can develop their abilities and skills related to this hobby.
Since
its inception in 2010, Daam has laid the foundation stone for many vital projects and initiatives in the social, sport and cultural fields, and the contributions of companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange are considered among the fund’s most important financial resources, making them an essential partner in achieving sustainable community development.
